Post Office broadband packages and deals

With so many different broadband internet providers out there to choose from, finding the right one for you may seem daunting but it doesn’t have to be! Sometimes looking at the lesser well-known providers of broadband can bring up some great deals.

For example, you may not instantly think of the Post Office as being a supplier of broadband but they do have some great deals on offer that should not be overlooked. Post Office broadband offers two main packages to customers: Broadband Standard and Broadband Extra.

Broadband Standard is the cheaper of the two options and costs just £16.30 per month. It is best for lighter users, what with its monthly download usage of 5 GB. The deal includes a modem and up to 50 MB of web space for your website. 24 hour technical support is provided to help customers with any problems, at any time of the day or night. The Post Office also promises to give their customers the fastest available speed. PC security is included in the package, with email, anti-spam protection, and anti-virus, protecting your computer from any harmful online threats.

Broadband Extra has an unlimited monthly download limit, making it perfect for heavy internet users like those who watch video content, play online games and download music or other files. This deal costs £21.40 per month and comes with 24 hour technical support and a wireless router that allows you to connect more than one device in your home at a time. The fastest internet speed available is provided, as well as PC security, such as firewall and parental controls. It is also possible to combine either broadband deal with a home phone service from the Post Office, helping you to save even more money at the same time.
